As the Leaves Turn....

Last week, as I sat in the carpool lane waiting to drop Mason off at school, I looked over to notice a few orange and brown leaves trickling from the trees.... This immediately made me smile. There is no time of the year I love more than fall/winter.

The smells of pumpkin and apple pie spice.

The vibrant oranges, reds, and golden yellows adorning the trees.

The Dollar Section of Target screaming "FALLIFY YOUR HOUSE!"

Who wouldn't love this time of year!

I have harassed Target employees for weeks now with my questions of when the dollar section would be updated and when Fall decor would finally be stocking the shelves.

No one could give me an answer! (This still baffles me.... Don't they have meetings about these important issues!)

Imagine my delight when I stepped into their lovely store this morning and spotted the Halloween decor going up in the seasonal area at the front of the store! My excitement was actually a little disturbing.... Even for me. My heart literally skipped a beat when I turned the corner at the DS and spotted the shelves full of fall stuff.

WHAT! FALL STUFF! FOR ME!

I went a little overboard. I now have a massively large bag full of fall stuff hiding in my car just WAITING for the right moment to be broken up into small groups and snuck into my house.

Do I have a dollar section problem? Possibly.... Do I want to fix it? Definitely NOT!

Not only does the fall decor provide me with never ending excitement, but it also opens up a whole host of other events!

Pumpkin Patch Trip!

Mason's school Fall Festival (which, hopefully, this year will happen when our house is NOT in the middle of a stomach virus....)

Halloween!

THE FAIR!

And another trip to the New Orleans Zoo!

Who else is ready for Fall!
