The Trunk Show

Well haven't I been just a little busy bee!

The Trunk Show is a online based (Facebook for now, but not JUST that for long!) boutique specializing in women's clothing and accessories.

By brain child. My baby. My sweet little project.

I decided to start TTS because of my love of boutique style clothing. There is just something about some of these boutique pieces that speaks to me. Flowy fabrics, delicate colors, girly stuff. Things I love.

Unfortunately, most of those boutique pieces do not come cheap. $50 for a cotton dress???? No thank you!

TADA! The Trunk Show.

I strive to offer those cute little boutique pieces that your wallet (and your husband) will love just as much as you do.

And not only do we offer these cute boutique pieces for less than many other boutiques, but we also have a once a week special!

Wardrobe Wednesday happens, you guessed it, every Wednesday. One item is offered up at a discounted price that INCLUDES shipping! You can't beat that!

So take a moment, head over to The Trunk Show, and Like the page so you can keep up with the deals we have to offer!

You won't regret it!

I promise!

Happy 5th of July!

Today is a prime example of why the 4th should only occur on a weekend. Preferably a Saturday.... So you have two full days to recoop before getting back to a schedule.

We opted to load up the entire house (as you often do when traveling with three little ones) and head to my in laws beach house for the 4th. Of course this decision was made on the 3rd.... At 1 pm..... Last minute? Just a little.

Fort Morgan fireworks show... aka- neighbors shooting fireworks in the street. Unfortunately Fort Morgan is pretty far from every location of a big show, so we couldn't see them from the beach house. Neighbor's show it is!

To say our 4th was fantastic would be an understatement. Yes it stormed like there was no tomorrow while we drove the hour over there. And yes it started lightly raining while we were on the beach followed by hurricane force winds that caused our tent to collapse on top of us while our chairs took off down the beach. But I digress. It was a wonderful mini getaway. It may have done more harm than good, stinking little teaser. I just have to remind myself that our vacation is merely a month away. Can I last without trading children in at Target in exchange for a Target shopping spree? Possibly not, but VACATION IS COMING!

Beach house laundry line.

Today, however.... Today is one of those, "Where is my wine and how big of a glass can I get away with using" kind of days. I ignored my alarm for far too long this morning. Which translates to.... My hair is a cross between finger in a light socket and crazy cat lady, because when I am running late fixing my hair is the first chore to go. When I finally decided to drag my self out of the bed, what am I greeted with.... Brady Parker declaring that he was about to puke.

Snatch up child. Run to toilet. Hover over toilet to make sure if/when he does, I don't have a mess to clean up afterwards.

No puke.

He then lays down in the bathroom and proceeds to fall asleep. On the bathroom floor. While I am showering.

So the kid isn't feeling the best. This is also made clear by the now 5 pukes he has under his belt for the day.

Happy July 5th to us!

Fingers crossed that this is NOT a virus and it does NOT now go through everyone in the house!

Our Weekend- The Photo Edition

Happy Sunday!

Let me start this by saying, please be very thankful that you cannot SEE me while you read this. I am in my jammies, hair in a ball on the top of my head, no makeup, with teeth that have not been brushed this morning.

Yes it is 2 p.m. I had every intention of going somewhere today, I swear that I did, but then I looked out the window and it looked so hot.

And OF COURSE going out in it puts us in danger of heat stroke, exhaustion, sunburn....

I had to be safe and stay inside.

I definitely did not lack all motivation to even put pants on. That is not it AT ALL.

Anyway. It isn't like we missed anything. I mean, we went to the beach on Friday and yesterday we went thrift store shopping and played in the sprinkler at my Granny's house. We needed to stay home today! The house needs to be cleaned! Of course, I am not promising that will happen today, but it is a fact.

So instead of actually getting dressed and getting out of the house, a photo flashback of our weekend. BEFORE we lost our motivation to put on pants.

Now.... This next photo, well, this happened about fifteen times total while we were there. The kid has become beach fearless! He runs full speed into the water and plops, whether his butt can hit sand before his face hits water or not!

I would also like to say that I get blurry pictures when people are perfectly still all the time. I don't focus it just right and it happens. How in the WORLD did I get a perfectly clear shot of his attempt to drowned????? AND with me immediately jumping up and snatching him out of the water?????

Stinking camera. But, I did get the PERFECT shot of an event that happened way more than anything else while we were there.

And then Saturday.... Sprinkler Time at Granny's!

(No drowning photos in this bunch, although he did insist on putting his face in the stream A LOT. I may need to have him evaluated...)

And today.... Sunday.... NOTHING day.

And Definitely no drowning photos. Just pure cuteness.

My sweet boys. How do they grow so fast!

Now, my Mason Bug needs to hurry up and get home from his dad's so I can soak his growing too quickly boyness!

AND... Since it is Sunday! It's True Blood night!!!!!

Now, who's ready for the 4th!
